Vote Jermaine

Your Next Mayor

of Pensacola, Florida

Jermaine J. Williams is a lifelong Pensacola advocate, community leader, and dedicated public servant driven by his belief that government must work for the people who live here.

Born and raised in Pensacola, Jermaine’s journey has shaped how he sees leadership, not from the top down, but from the neighborhood up. He’s a certified mental health professional and community leader with deep experience advocating for recovery, housing stability, and community care.

Jermaine’s own story includes overcoming personal challenges and transforming that experience into service such as fighting stigma around addiction and mental health and helping others find hope. His work includes organizing local campaigns, community events, and bringing people together around solutions that reflect lived reality, not theory.

Now he’s running for Mayor of Pensacola to bring that same grit, compassion, and accountability to City Hall, focused on putting People First and building a city where every neighbor can thrive.

Jermaine J. Williams for Mayor

Jermaine J. Williams learned early that leadership doesn’t start with a title, it starts with showing up.

Growing up in Pensacola, Jermaine experienced the city from the inside out: its neighborhoods, its challenges, its resilience, and its people. Like many families here, his story includes both struggle and strength. Those early years shaped his understanding that too many people fall through the cracks — not because they don’t care, but because systems fail to see them.

Because of his experiences, Jermaine made a decision that would define his path forward: his story wouldn’t end with survival, it would be about service.

That commitment led him into community advocacy, recovery work, and public-facing service focused on mental health, addiction recovery, and crisis response. As a Certified Recovery Peer Specialist and mental health professional, Jermaine has worked directly with individuals and families navigating their hardest moments. He’s seen what happens when people are ignored, and what’s possible when they’re supported.

But Jermaine didn’t stop at individual impact. He became a voice. Using storytelling, public speaking, film, and community organizing to challenge stigma, spark conversation, and push for solutions that actually meet people where they are. His work has brought together nonprofits, local leaders, and everyday residents who are tired of being talked at instead of listened to.

Through that work, one truth became impossible to ignore: real change doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when government, communities, and everyday people move together with purpose and accountability.

That belief, built through lived experience, not theory, is what drives Jermaine’s run for Mayor of Pensacola.

He’s not running to manage the status quo. He’s running because Pensacola deserves leadership that puts people first, listens before it speaks, and builds opportunity across every neighborhood, not just a select few.

Jermaine’s vision is simple but urgent: a city where compassion and accountability coexist, where progress includes everyone, and where Pensacola always shows up for its people.

Our Campaign Focus

Honest Leadership

No Backdoor Deals!

City Hall must operate transparently, make decisions in the open and remain accountable to the people, not special interests.

Build The City Without Removing The People

Build the City with the People

Development should create opportunity without pushing longtime residents out. Growth must strengthen neighborhoods, protect families, and respect the people who built Pensacola.

Treat the Mental Health & Addiction Crisis

We Must Treat Them as The Crisis They Are

Mental health and addiction impact families, neighborhoods, and public safety. Pensacola must prioritize prevention, treatment, and compassionate crisis response, not neglect or punishment.

Housing Stability & Dignity

Respect for Our Unhoused Neighbors

Homelessness should be addressed with solutions, not criminalization. We must expand access to housing, mental health care, addiction treatment, and coordinated support that protects public safety while treating people with dignity.

A Safe Place for Our Children

Inspiring Leaders

Pensacola should offer real pathways to good jobs, affordable living, and long-term stability so young people and working families can build their future here - not feel forced to leave.
